I’ve just relaunched my personal website (www.adrienfield.com) which showcases my styling and editorial work! Having a professional site has been a long time coming and I’m so proud of this! Check out my past work there — I’m still in the process of uploading all my images.
One day when fashion historians write my unauthorized biography, this will go down as the first cover I styled on my own. My friends Walker Brockington and Fernando Lahoz created VAGA Magazine, a limited edition hardbound print publication full of beautiful fashion and photography.
I styled the cover story, as well as the men’s editorial inside. I am so proud of the work they did, as well as my contribution to the book. Here’s Walker outside the launch party tonight, flipping through the issue. Sorry gentlemen (and ladies), he’s taken.
Guy Ritchie filmed Jude Law for this Dior Homme fragrance video advertisement, which feels like the short film version of a glossy magazine page. Very sleek and sexy results, and not just because I have the biggest crush on Jude Law.
I had to post this cover featuring English model Rory Torrens. I shot with him when I styled the men’s shoot for Vaga a few months ago (that just came out — buy an issue — the cover and accompanying editorial were also styled by me). He is beautiful — all cheekbones and chiseled jawline. I had also noticed him in a previous issue of VMAN. Happy for him that he’s doing big things!
Fashion Week is just around the bend and that nervous knot is already starting to churn in my stomach. I was asked by DAM Magazine to give my routine during those eight days of madness. Check it out here!
The other night, my friend and fellow editor Zandile Blay, asked me to present at her first annual “Blogworthy Awards.” The chic event was held at the Sky Room in Midtown with drinks by Bacardi. Lots of fabulous fashion friends and personalities also came out including editors from Details, Esquire, and New York Magazine, to name a few. It was an honor to be involved with the project highlighting the best of the web and the brands we fashion bloggers/editors love.
While there, I was interviewed by a lovely girl. Check out my answers to “favorite brand” and “most blogworthy moment of 2010.”
